"It was a simpler time, a different time. There was then, and everything after." - a line from an interview with a former resident of this Cohoes home. This piece combines recollections and on-site sketches with printmaking and sculptural techniques. My work explores the ideas of memory, place, and home.

Katherine Chwazik is a mixed media artist, curator, and art educator living and working in New York’s Capital Region. She curates and manages Smallbany Gallery, and tries to teach middle schoolers that anyone can be an artist.
