This series is part of a 100 day challenge. I paint every day. I paint on gessoed paper saving time and cost. Between 1 and 2 hours I paint a painting and then it’s done, moving onto the next painting tomorrow. I pick an object in my home to paint: toys, tools, saved objects... I always paint in my little basement studio to save set up time. I find time to paint whenever I can- while my supportive husband is cooking dinner and my kids are busy with their projects or watching tv. Sometimes I paint in spurts throughout the day while the kids are reading or playing with legos. On busy days I paint only after everyone is asleep. I have five kids. We unschool. Days are busy. Unschooling by nature is about pursuing your passions. I’m trying to demonstrate this with my 100 days of painting challenge.
