My work comes from thinking about identity in different contexts, focusing on a specific feeling or place from personal experiences and research.
Artist Bio
J.N. Ward lives and works in the Arkansas Ozarks with her spouse and two young children. Ward graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2008 after completing the requirements for painting and with a bachelor's in art history. She pursued her art career immediately after graduation and has volunteered and worked with the Arkansas Arts Center and the Portland Art Museum. J.N. enjoys abstract literature, gardening, and hanging out with good folks.
