Carlie Sherry - Dear Meret (Fur covered panel, 24" x 24", 2019)

$0.00
NFS

This pink fur covered panel is part of a larger installation titled "Dear Meret," a lushly upholstered space filled with an abundance of pink fur covered walls, panels, objects, and a video performance. This piece functions as an open letter to surrealist artist Meret Oppenheim and pays homage to her found object sculpture Fur Covered Breakfast. Trusting Meret with my inner thoughts, I share with Meret invisible health issues such as coping with anxiety while divulging the nasty habits I picked up as coping mechanisms.
