Artist Statement

The majority of my work focuses on scale, proportion, and spatial issues. My recent paintings merge gestural marks with geometric patterns into something that resembles a landscape. The meaning is intentionally open-ended, but the paintings encourage viewers to reconsider the divisions between natural and human environments.
