This year, TAP Inc. has partnered with Collar Works for ARCHTOBER: Troy Edition! ART BLOCK PARTY!

Enjoy an evening celebrating experimental contemporary art and architecture in Collar Works’ future outdoor Art Yard space, featuring a performance by the architecture-inspired 80's throwback band Architrave, the FLOCKart exhibition by Eli Thorne, DJ vibes and dance set by groop.lab.

The Art Yard will be transformed by Troy-based architectural firm ME Studio, which has joined up with lighting designer Lightexture, to create a sculptural installation for the event. Loosely inspired by origami, this interactive piece will feature a screen that reflects an organic light display.

The evening will also include a pop-up performance by The Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, featuring pieces from their repertoire and new choreography from their series 'Putting Out The Welcome Mat.'

Food and beverages will be available, including Slidin' Dirty food truck, wine provided by Capital Wine, Frog Alley Brewery, and other drinks.

LOCATION: Collar Works Art Yard at 206 1st St, Troy, NY 12180. This one-day-only event is taking place outdoors.

TAP, Inc. has been an essential part of Collar Works’ current capital project, helping provide architectural drawings and site plans for our renovation of the Historic Neemes Iron Foundry into a multi-contemporary arts center!

Art Block Party is a collaboration between TAP, Inc. and Collar Works, and all proceeds will be donated equally to both organizations in support of art, culture & architecture programs.
